Reductions
Reductions involve carefully pruning limbs to decrease the trees height or spread. This service promotes healthy growth and maintains the trees shape without compromising its healthy condition allowing us to prolong the tress lifespan.
Crown clean & Thins
Crown cleaning involves removing dead or diseased branches to improve the trees health and aesthetics. A crown thin reduces the trees density by selectively removing branches allowing for better light penetration and reducing the sail effect of larger trees.
Pollarding
Pollarding is a more aggressive form of tree preservation which involves the removal of the entire crown but leaving the framework intact. This is very species specific and enables continued growth which can be carried out on a schedule every few years.

Stump Grinding/Removal
After a tree is removed the stump will remain. Using a stump grinder will remove the stump below ground level allowing the space to be used for landscaping or planting. We also offer a more eco-friendly option whereby we insert a ring of eco-plugs which promotes the natural decay of the stump. These options can be discussed during consultation.
